I know I have not updated on here as often as I used to. I intend to...I really do, but boy I seem to be short on free time lately. :) We decided to make it a tradition and decorate for Christmas on Thanksgiving morning. It was a gorgeous Thanksgiving day this year, and we got all the decorations up.

...and a picture of our paper snowflakes that we are very proud of. :)
We have been doing a bit of elfing lately as well. Getting creative and trying to make lots of gifts again this year. Will has been busy painting and making ornaments. (I wish I could say that he likes to sit and do this for hours, but this painting was actually done in two 5 minute sittings due to his short attention span with crafts.)...hehe, but he did a really nice job.
I have been wanting to make an advent calendar for the last couple of years and finally got around to it! I wrote an activity to do on a piece of paper for each day leading up to Christmas; fun things to help prepare and celebrate the birth of our Savior! I needle felted the numbers to match our stockings I made last year. (which remind me that I need to finish making Karlie's stocking still.)
...and I supposed I will share the two wreaths I made this year. One I just simply added the fun little rosettes of twisted fabric and the berries, and the second wreath below I made with scraps of old sweaters. It is so fun to make such beautiful things out of scraps and things that are of no use laying around my house. :)
Now I am off to finish Karlie's stocking and some other fun gifts. peace. :)
