lemon and lime

Etsy. Oh how I love thee. Filled with all sorts of beautiful things to look at. Isn't handmade the best!? I am hoping to get my store up and running again soon. For now I have been dreaming of fresh citrus. It is right in the middle of the hot summer and not only have I been craving lemonade, but I have seemed to heart lots of bright yellow and lime green lately. It just looks refreshing! I also found this Coconut Limeade recipe on pinterest today...oh my oh...doesn't it just look amazing!?  It is cooling me down already. Must be made this week. :)

Weekend Finds

retro cups

I am in LOVE with colorful retro looking things! Enough said. :) I have been collecting for a while now, but I was so excited about my garage sale finds this weekend that I had to share with you... I found this beautiful collection of plastic retro dishes that came in a picnic basket. Although the basket was not in good shape I thought the dishes were perfect! They would be great for picnics and grilling out instead of paper plates. And they were only $1.50 for the whole set!! awesome deal huh? Some of the smaller dishes I might tuck away to go with this lovely play kitchen I am thinking about putting together for Will's birthday in the fall.

I also found a couple more vintage Pyrex. I am starting to see a theme with these. I have a lot in this olive green color. I like it. :) For all three of these it was 75 cents.

...and I saved the best for last! This brilliant floral lamp! Yes I know it might seem aged to a lot of you, but its retro right? And I love it! It will fit in with my decor perfectly! I splurged a bit for this one because I just fell in love with it! It was marked at $10, but I talked her down to $ 7.

So all together I spent just under $10 for all of this beautifulness! Love it! Although I was dripping sweat in this horrible humid heat, it was definitely worth it! :)
